I have an icon (around $200). It fits great, is comfortable, and has good airflow.

buy something like a HJC, they offer quality helmets for not too expensive. DONT buy an arai or shoei or those racing helmets.. They are just lighter and louder.. more suited for the track.Ian522 wrote:If you have money to waste then buy a shoei, arai, etc. They are excellent helmets but there are other brands that are nearly as good for significantly less money.
Actually, you should buy what fits, end of story. If it cost $100 or $900, as long as it's DOT approved and fits like described in the Helmet sticky....Dohun wrote:DONT buy an arai or shoei or those racing helmets.. They are just lighter and louder.. more suited for the track.
NEVER buy a helmet on ebay. Just not worth the savings in $$ to risk your gray matter on a 'bargain' helmet. Not even 'new in the box.'wickedrider wrote:You check out this site on ebay. I cant vouch for the sellers credibility. It is something that I saw. Someone else on this site may be able to let you know more about this seller.
