I've hit statonary objects without intention It happens. In the truck, on foot, on my bicycle, in a friend's car, on my bike... All usually low speed stuff
You aren't borm with fine-tuned spacial awareness and proprioception by default.
Walked into a bollard once in South Kensington. It was at the side of the road; narrow, solid and kinda just about crotch height. A woman walking near me winced empathically as she passed by.
And I also hit a non-moving wall when I was fifteen and blind drunk. But he hit me back and I passed out. Silly boy! I only know I did it 'cos a friend told me afterwards. I have no idea what it was about.
And once I was walking into a shop in Hull. There were lots of posters behind the glass panels in the shop door. One of them, right in the middle, was very faded. As I walked in the door I was still trying to read it so fell down some steps and hit my head against a non-moving metal pole at the bottom. After the stars stopped twinkling and the manager stopped apologising, I walked out of the shop. As I passed the door, I had a good look at the poster. It said 'Please mind the steps'. Believe me, this is all too true.
But no, never hit a non-moving wall on a bike. Not yet! I hope, not ever.
But hey! Hang on a minute! Many long years ago, I rolled my BSA into a deep ditch and hit the far bank - hard. Does that count? It didn't move. I did. Temporarily.
Do I get a gold star for this?

I winced just reading about it...
It said 'Please mind the steps'.
Damn, I saw a sign just like that in Vancouver several years ago... I noticed it on the way out though....

I have a scar on my right elbow from where I managed to brush against a stucco column while walking. I was talking to a friend walking on my left side, and kinda drifted to the right while looking left.

Molon Labe!!!
I missed a head once, and hit a brick wall. The guy who owned the bar wasn't too happy about the hole, but he liked me a lot better when I showed up the next day to repair it.
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.
I walk into corners of walls or doorways when I am wearing my riding gear.
I am not used to having such big shoulders and with the armoured jacket on, my shoulders get caught on the corner and stop me in my tracks.
