Because then there would be a hard link to the people running the scam, I guess.Sev wrote:LoL,
Why wouldn't they at least spend the $10 to register a site along the lines of www.becksbeer.com and get free e-mail addresses to go with them? Then they could at least have an address that doesn't end in yahoo.co.uk (obviously a scam).
The world is full of idiots. What makes me sadder is that people obviously fall for this stuff, otherwise, why would people keep doing it?
I won! I won! Another scam.....

OK...this one wants me to get a mortgage. Now who in their right mind would think that a bank or a legitimate mortgage company would have an email address like this? Sheesh.
I haven't clicked on the link and I don't recommend anyone doing so. I posted it just so you could see the stupid name.

I don't know. I seldom get any in my telus account, but in my yahoo mail they seem to come in frequently these days. They go directly to a spam folder, so I don't even have to bother with them. I never open them....I just look at the header and then delete.zed wrote:What's going on here blues?

OK, for some reason the scams are coming into the regular inbox now instead of the spam box......I then mark them as spam so if they come again they will go into the spam box.
This latest one today though....wowee.....if someone wasn't savvy, they could really be misled.
Take a look at the header.
