Trouble is I think so many people spend all there money on the bike and forget about gear.It does worrow me seeing all these people running around with cheap lids and bugger all else.

Usually, from what I've read on the subject, the young [they're always young] kids riding in shorts, tank tops, and flipflops are in their own little way telling the world they are daring and fearless in the face of danger. They are merely little boys wishing to demonstrate their version of manliness, and consider riding without gear to be macho [gear??--I don't need no stinkin'gear!!!]. Of course they are more on the order of poster-children for mental retardation, but, to prove that point, they won't ever realize it, at least until they have a nice, multi-bone-busting, road-rashing crash, which they might survive, and the gf, dressed similarly, might not. Dummies all, to the last molecule of their tiny brains.

Thats alright if they break their bones............as long as it doesnt effect anyone else.

The shirt would have even less abrasion-resistance than bare skin.....so why bother with anything at all?
