My personal fav was a guy selling a 2004 ls650 for $5600 Canadian. A brand new '05 costs $5200. And you don't need to worry about what someone else did to it.

ive seen people try to argue they can charge more for a used bike because its been broken in already that way you can just get on and rid it like its ment to be without a long break in period.
not knowing who broke it in, or how, let alone IF they broke it in is way to risky to willingly spend more money on a used bike rather than get a brand new one and spend a week to run the motor in and then be confident knowing it was done right. some people though....

I suspect the inclusion of a windscreen resulted in the discrepancy in pricing, but even a windscreen doesn't cost more then... $200 for a bike that size (I know I owned one). Perhaps he was including GST, or had decided that the "maintenance" he had done at the shop added to the value?
