Put this one in:

Northern California up highway 49 on the way from Sacramento to Lake Tahoe - Get off the freeway at Brunswick (a few miles after Grass Valley), and turn right, then turn left at the stoplight. It's just a few driveways down on the right on Sutton. Hollywood Sweets ~ 12041 Sutton Way ~ Grass Valley CA, 95949~ 530 272-4470

Tasters

A few tasters of unchaineds so far. Some from Scotland others from the US.
I still need lots more from anywhere in the world, but it's starting to get "interesting".

Surely the best pies in the world. They do mail order to but the run up to Lochinver is highly recommended anyway.

The shopis just by the car park along the seafront. The haggis, neep & tattie pie is a great hangover cure too.

The "Miss Adams Diner" on Park St. (Rt. 8) in Adams, MA offers a dozen different burgers and a mountain of sweet potatoe fries in the classic Rail Car Diner format.

From what I hear, Bob's Country Kitchen on Rt.7 in Lanesboro, MA offers the best strawberry shortcake in the county...foot long hot dogs are pretty good too.

Vancouver

#14 Unread post by lamble »

Took my first ride north of the border into Canada and Vancouver in particular.

Stayed unchained at Le Soliel Hotel and ate in China town and at Granville Market, both have a wide variety of cheap and tasty places.

The glazed duck in the window always looks great and is good eating, and the market houses many local farmers and artisan producers.

Nice place.

pork pies

#15 Unread post by lamble »

Any Canadian unchaineds that are worth noting?
Plus I noticed someone from Nottingham on the site, what about the Ram Jam on the A1, or round Rutland and Melton Mobray (surely a pork pie).

Then we need more from the USA and the rest of the world too.

Then post here

Thanks folks.

I need more from southern USA and south america, plus any scandanavian unchained, in fact where ever you are or have been will all add to making this a really useful resource for fellow riders.

So, thanks, in anticipation of your support.
