They are bright... but a little big.

On my bike, it's perfectly aimed at tailgating SUV-driving jerks, so it fulfills the exact role I bought it for. I can certainly see how it may require tweaking on different bikes, though.

When I place that on my sissy bar bag I have to make sure that it points a bit upward... pics coming soon.
Check out the SOLAS on that Aerostitch page, it's highly reflective.
