Zen, because she's teaching me the art of motorcycle maintenance. :frusty:

Hi! She's plenty good to me, but just being true to her genetics. These beasts are so lean they need to be rejetted right out the door brand new. There's a flat spot between idle and 4K, then they are all zoom. But they can't even do a standing start without giving the throttle a good twist and slipping the clutch; once rolling they're usually fine. Just a quirk of the carburetion. Mine isn't as bad as the pre '01s, nor as good as the plus '04s. Now the carbs feel dirty too, so time to do a clean and rejet, add a K&N Lunchbox to replace the stock air filter, and find a nice Yoshi can for her rear,. She should be really sweet once she can truly breathe and get enough gas.
But I love her to pieces right now anyway.

I just sold my 90 gs. I loved the way the yoshi sounded on mine (lean backfires and pops and all) I should have rejetted but never did.Hell I would've left the stock pipe on but it came to me with the yoshi already on so. Well good luck with it, they are plenty damn fun thats for sure.
