the race track is on the other side of that big hill.

also that first turn is soooo fun =D The lane is about 20 feet wide. and I think its meant for bikers to lean hard -D

3-13-07 72 degrees F, moderately windy, very foggy, no clouds, sunny

went to laguna seca again and circled around the whole track, it takes a good 15 -25 minutes to circle the entire thing. I was able to stop at some places and take some pics.

the first three I took because of the shear scariness of it. It does not seem scary from the picture but man it is STEEP. I was too scared to even ride down it, but believe me, you would think twice before riding it.

These are some famous spots, the first one is the famous first turn right after the start, the other one is the last turn before entering the straight away again.Image

64 degrees, very windy, sunny, no clouds

I went to Big Sur today. I took highway 1 south which is very challenging for a beginner. It is EXTREMELY windy, and will easily push you into the other lane. I took it hard on the first few curves and had some close encounters with the dirt. (60+MPH) I decided to stay in 4th gear and not go past fourth gear. Fourth gears maxs at around 45 MPH.

here is the beginning to the highway. I took the picture off my bike seat. I am dancing by the way and people honked at me.

here are pictures all along the way to big sur. which is a 30 minute ride from my house.

these are IN order.

Sunday. 3-18-07

63 degrees F, quite sunny, no clouds, no winds. perf day for riding

I went to Carmel village (where Clint Eastwood lives). I saw atleast 40 bikers on the way there.

I was looking for a famous road but couldnt find it. I found a road called "Canyon Road" and I was like hey cool

so I went there. It was the shadiest road I have ever seen.

I went about 4 miles in and stopped here because the roads were too shady and I was already a couple thousand feet above the regular ground.

HAH! Not likely. There are no straight roads anywhere near me. We have super twisty roads going through the redwoods here. Not to mention Hwy 36; touted as being one of the best motorcycling roads in California. 156 miles that take about 6 or 7 hours to traverse
