Can't find the image in your imagedump, but I did notice you play WoW. Haha, me too.

Maybe post your pics on photobucket (more reliable imo).

As for the bike, please be careful with it. I'm going to cry if I see it dropped haha. Get out there and practise the basics over and over, any idiot can go fast in a straight line, but a good rider can go fast in turns and has excellent control at low speeds. If you need to put your feet down to do a U-turn you need to practise more.

You've got a lot of people jumping on you now, and to be honest a year ago I would have done the same thing. I still don't think it's a good bike to be learning to ride on (yes I know you've ridden before you're still a newb). But it's not like anything we're going to say will get you to sell it... actually sell it to me

!!!!! So now it's our job to minimize damage to yourself and the machine.

jeezus christ, people... you know barley anything about the dood and you're all over him like stink on poop... how do you know he hasn't taken an msf course?? how do you know that he can't handle the bike?? how do you know he doesn't ride with full gear?? just because it's his first bike doesn't mean he's not capable of riding it. what?? because he posted here, it automatically makes him a noobie?? did anyone notice he posted in the experienced riders forum too?? maybe he mis-read the forum name and thought it was for new bikes.

it's nice to show concern, but maybe find out a bit more before smothering the dood...

yea.. of course I took the MSF course first, I also put several hundred miles on my friends bike, and I wear all the gear, all the time, including a back/chest protector under my jacket.

and... FYI... I bought the bike about 8 months ago, but since I just found this forum introduced my bike as new to you.

7480 fantastic fun filled (and careful) miles...... and counting....

Don't forget a large percentage of people do drop their bike at one time or another, so be prepared.{/not sarcastic}

heheh... actually... best thing that ever happened to me was dropping MY FRIENDS bike in the driveway, learned a good lesson about how easy it is to do and, *cross fingers* only 4 months to go to make it thru the first year with no drops

OH GOD.

THAT DONT MATTER MY FRIEND. DO YOU REALIZE YOU HAVE A 130 HORSE POWER I-4 ENGINE? IT IS STRONGER THAN GSXR 600 AND HAS THE SAME AMOUNT OF POWER AS A R6. PPL RIDE FOR YEARS (THOUSANDS OF MILES) BEFORE GETTING A BIKE LIKE YOURS.

oh god.

I dunno... I mean, yeah... starting out on a 600+ is just nuts, BUT... having ridden all of the various 600 sport bikes and now being the proud owner of an 06 Daytona 675, I'd have to say that it is the smoothest, least touchy, most ... modulated... of all of them.

If I were just starting out and only had a GSXR, a Ninja or a Daytona to learn on, I'd take the Daytona. Sure, it is super-powerful and you definitely have to take it easy, but it isn't... unbridled... the way (in my opinion) a GSXR or Ninja is.

I'm not saying it's a SMART way to go, but it's the best of a bad lot.

Just my humble $0.02. Congrats on the new bike, OP; don't get yourself killed.
