not really... he's 28 yrs old. that mostly applies to people under 25.

i got $900/yr rate on my brand new gixxer1000 last year w/ 1 ticket under my lic. could have been lower if my record was clean.
You damn Americans and your cheap insurance, for me under 25 on a 500cc bike is 2500ish completely basic coverage liability only. I don't even want to imagine what a 600cc sport bike would cost me. Insurance is far more expensive here.

You can buy a brand new 07 Yamaha V Star 1100 Custom in black for $5995, and the 07 650 Custom is $4699, Suzuki C and M50's are $5495 new, Suzuki C90's are $7495 new. NOTE: when new bikes are that cheap, the dealers reduce the price on their used bikes. Its a buyers market out there right now, get out and buy one! Hurry!
So, a while back out of interest I actually e-mailed that motorsport place you were talking about. I asked how much the out the door prices for the bikes you keep talking about would be.

Believe it or not the OTD prices were something like $1000-2000 more then the numbers you throw about.

Do not listen to anything MotoF150 has to say. Consider yourself warned.
