Beautiful day here called on account of work.
Still took the wife for a 40 mile rip, changed the oil, lubed the speedo cable to stop the bouncing needle

, played with some suspension and carb settings, and went for another 30 mile tear alone it was all back together. Woulda had the thing clean too, if not for that dam job.... now I probably won't get it clean for a week or so..... and the idle is too high...

Yes, the weather in Ohio was feckin' awesome yesterday!! And it was Mother's Day, which brings extra special fun for me. First it was brunch at the dairy farm (Young's Jersey Dairy - best farm style food around), then a round of mini-putt. After that I had the day to myself, and it took all of 10 minutes for me to mount my bike, and I was gone...... what a blast!!!
Cheers,
Loonette

Yeah Nib it does....but not for about 7-8 Months now, so it's a
Drought.
The last few years have been good for rain so now it seems like we may be entering a long dry spell. Good for riding, not good for the country, or the poor suffering cattle! Not to mention the roo's, wild horses & other animals.
So things are a tad
dusty out here, would be nice to see a bit of rain to settle it down.

I only rode for a few minutes yesterday. Seattle was rainy off and on but I cleaned and polished for about three hours yesterday and there was no way I wasn't going to put in at least a couple of miles.
sorry about your drought Oz - makes me worry about the animals.

My wife and I went for a ride yesterday. It was her first real ride with me, we only did about 30 miles. She is still learning.
Here is a small video clip from our ride.

Nope, I cheated. I bought a '90 FJ-1200 a week ago. It's a nice bike and as fast as you want, but the 7/11 is still coming. It will be nice to have 2 bikes, so I can ride the fighter like it should be ridden, without worrying about totaling my only ride. And I can get the wife on the back of the FJ.... Buzzuki is a solo ride. No need to kill 2 people, when 1 will do.
