you will die.
LoL!
well that's what some people here will say to you.
all im gonna say is if you're not having fun w/ that R1 then sell it.
otherwise, good luck and practice a lot of throttle control among other things.

the salesman should be charged with attempted murder
Dyin'? Boy, he can have this little life any time he wants to. Do ya hear that? Are ya hearin' it? Come on. You're welcome to it, ol' timer. Let me know you're up there. Come on. Love me, hate me, kill me, anything. Just let me know it.

...and some people here are so ignorant they actually agree with the salesman!

If so, get to a rider's course. That $3k you put down on the bike should have gone to gear and training. I'm not real sure how you get out from under this with losing your shirt. Trade in is an option, but I certainly wouldn't want to go back to the same greedy dealer that sold it in the first place.

+1Is this for real?

I meant that it was the luckiest two months of his life because he didn't die or anything like that, not because he is lucky because he got to drive a R1 for two months.Shorts wrote:...and some people here are so ignorant they actually agree with the salesman!............

The dealer who sold you that bike should be reported to the authorities who issue business licenses.
As a beginner, you had no idea what you were getting into, but the salesman knew exactly what he was selling.
Was the salesman the owner of the store? If not, then go and talk to the owner....and take a parent or someone older with experience with you.
Who knows, they might let you trade down so they can save face. They sure wouldn't want their name in the paper for selling an inappropriate dangerous machine to an unskilled youth.
