Even if it's only a mile, pulling over and letting them go by would have made the mile a pleasant one instead of an angry one.

:dunno: just a thought

Sometimes there isn't anywhere safe to stop, and I ride very defensively of my roadspace, so I have maneuvering room to avoid potholes etc.

When its safe I will make an obvious shoulder check and move to let them past, till then they get the finger

Gun it! Well, not usually, but sometimes that's the only way, especially when they're literally inches from your back fender. I've also flashed the brake lights and acted like I was braking hard, that got the point across too... as in the anti-lock system kicking in on the car...

Stay cool. You never know when you have #1-Psycho-Award-Road-Rage Winner behind you. If you "pee" him off (finger, tossing things, etc.) remember, he's in the bigger all-round protected vehicle and he might just wanna bump you or something equally dangerous or stupid. Just stay cool until you can safely let him rip by or pull over. (Yeah, I know...there are stupid jerks in this world too)

I remember getting ticketed for running from a road rager because when I slowed down to get him to pass he skidded his tires while braking and I bolted.

My hearing is postponed for some odd reason... maybe because I'm suing the NYPD and the city since it failed to handle a similar road rage incident I had before when I slowed due to kids crossing the street.

Apparently the AMA showed how useless they were when they said that it was expensive to air commercials advising road users to share the road. They just take your money to fight helmet laws instead of acting to make riding safer.

Very, very true, but equally true, some people just don't realise they're driving like an "O Ring", they're on auto-pilot till they see something that sets them off balance and start thinking

That and people rarely mess with a fully geared biker, where all they can see is armor padding. Its an odd mindset but hey ho it works in my favour

I have only had 1x where I had a tailgater and I was doing 70 in a 55 when the guy caught up to me wtf. I just slowed down to 25mph (was 3 miles of impassable road). guy got the hint after 2 miles and I sped back up to 70mph cause he tried to pass me and well there was no way his pos could outrun me :D.

I can sort of see that Nibb but are you a big guy in general? As a driver, I'd prob think twice about messing with a big armored faceless biker but I've noticed that I tend to get bugged more when I'm riding by myself... maybe I need to get bigger somehow  :D

I'm 6'1 medium build, but to be honest just having a fullface helmet on is probably enough to deter most people.

I also see lots of ads on the internet on how to make yourself bigger, but not sure they apply to girls
