And after two seasons, I still love the bike.

Well, it's the end of the 4th riding season for the V-Star Silverado and it is still flawless. All I have had to do is change the fluids on a regular basis and add gas. I may need a new rear tire for next season, but everything else is good to go, the chrome and paint remain perfect, not a bit of rust in sight. It's been a good old horse.
My next bike will no doubt be another Yamaha.

It's been 6 riding seasons, and starting on the 7th since I bought my 1100 V-Star Silverado and it continues to be flawless. The only issue I had was with hot starts, it didn't want to start after a ride in 90 temps, but a re-jet took care of that. I also changed over to synthetic oil, just for my own peace of mind. I'm looking at the V-Star 1300 tourer as an upgrade for the 1100, but that won't happen until we get some good riding weather in Ohio.
This is what the Silverado looks like today with 9K on the clock. I'm happy to report that it's been a good old horse.
