Maggots only eat dead flesh.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

I remember a Star Trek episode where Chekov had creepy crawler coming out if his ear. EEEEWWWWWW.

I saw a news story about a person who had a "bump" on the side of their face. It turned out a spider had laid eggs and when the person went to the doctor, the doctor found the spiders inside the skin. EEEEWWWWWWW

Kinda makes me never want to go outside again.

but if he's brain dead then the maggots might inject a bit of 'zombieness' into things....{was that a twitch? I thought i saw it move, lets split up so we can search more area....} :laughing:

Knowing a lot of doctors, I hear all the horror stories. Such as my one friend who claims to have treated a man who he found many, many maggots living between his scalp, and the bone of his skull.

I know doctors are putting the maggots back in medicine, but thats just wrong in my book

For a friend of mine, maggots were the difference between losing his leg or keeping it, after it was crushed in an airplane accident. He walks with a slight limp now, but the leg works fine.
