I remember a Star Trek episode where Chekov had creepy crawler coming out if his ear. EEEEWWWWWW.
I saw a news story about a person who had a "bump" on the side of their face. It turned out a spider had laid eggs and when the person went to the doctor, the doctor found the spiders inside the skin. EEEEWWWWWWW
Kinda makes me never want to go outside again.

I thought i saw it move, lets split up so we can search more area....}Shorts wrote:yes but these were maggot bug worms that eat brains. Theres a total differenceSev wrote:Maggots only eat dead flesh.

Knowing a lot of doctors, I hear all the horror stories. Such as my one friend who claims to have treated a man who he found many, many maggots living between his scalp, and the bone of his skull.
I know doctors are putting the maggots back in medicine, but thats just wrong in my book

That apparently isn't an urban legend...sure wish it was though....Nibblet99 wrote:Knowing a lot of doctors, I hear all the horror stories. Such as my one friend who claims to have treated a man who he found many, many maggots living between his scalp, and the bone of his skull.

For a friend of mine, maggots were the difference between losing his leg or keeping it, after it was crushed in an airplane accident. He walks with a slight limp now, but the leg works fine.Nibblet99 wrote: I know doctors are putting the maggots back in medicine, but thats just wrong in my book
