lucky... wish we had something like that in CA, because I'd move up to a SV650s in an instant.

yea it's cheap i don't even know why because car insurance here is ridiculously high...this insurance somehow insures people for cheaper...no clue how though...it's much cheaper than geico or progressive...i even have been in a car accident last summer and it's still low.

You're right. But he's 17. He'll get it anyway.

Actually my friend has it and i'm buying it from him, he let me drive it a few times and i can handle it, ive been riding dirtbikes my whole life it's not that hard to handle, I have a Honda CR450F dirtbike right now, But yeah i've driven the yzf600 a few times up and down his street it's not that bad i just gotta get used to the clutch and shifting on it

Dirt bikes and road bikes are very different. There are actually some skills in dirt bike riding that will hurt you fast on the road, such as letting your rear tire re-engage after locking it up without coming to a full stop. We could do a laundry list of reasons on why this is a good idea, but like previously mentioned you're probably going to do it anyway

I'm willing to bet that if you run the numbers- the insurance on the yzf600 is still expensive for you.
