What is the brand and model exactly?


Maybe someone knows about the manual (if there is one).

It would help.

If there is no manual, it will be difficult for anyone to adjust anything on the bike without a reference. How are you going to adjust valves? What is the spark plug gap? What are the torque specs for the bolts and nuts on the bike?

It may be in chinese, but there has to be some reference somewhere.

More then likely there isn't.

Model: 200cc sportbike

I really hate to see my bike go like this. I was hoping I could get more than just a measly 3,500 miles with my bike. If I tried the spark removal and tried to get the oil out, what do you think my % of being successful are? I mean what would be so hard? I just unscrew the spark plug, get a rag or a bucket next to the plug, then start my motor.

then try start it again, until no more oil comes out.

Then I screw the spark plug back in, and run it with tons of smoke coming out?



Manual or not, I am at least going to try it.

Sorry, didn't realize you had a Chinese bike. Your right, get rid of that pile of stinkin' crud ASAP.

I am getting so sick and tired of these bloody junk bikes from China and the problems/lack of support that comes with them! I realize they are cheap to buy. There is a reason for that. They ARE cheap. Cheap materials, cheap manufacture, cheap to support if you offer NO support..... Dam, I hate 'em!

And I feel bad for the folks who buy them, but there's nothing I can do about that after they have. There really ought to be a law, ya know? If you buy your bike bike at an auto parts store or the hardware store, you're screwed. Would you buy a car from the grocery store? Hopefully not. Then whyohwhy would you buy a bike from Walmart?

You're on the right track looking for a Kawi 500 or anything built by a company that has dealerships (can you say 'Japan'?) . People love to complain about dealers, but the fact is, they are able to support the machines they sell, those machines are 1000X better than the Won Ton bikes in the first place, and in general, you get what you paid for.

Sell off that heap you got now, and get a used Japanese bike. You will NOT be sorry you did.

**This is not directed at anyone in particular, but every DimSum bike ever made or bought, Alright? So if your offended, get over it. Chinese bikes are garbage, I didn't build the dam thing, or force anyone to buy one, but that don't change the fact that the bikes are trash. Research your bike purchase before plunking down your hard earned cash, and save us both the headache.

Oh well. The bike wasn't really a big financial problem for me. It was really cheap ($1200), and lasted me fairly far (3,500 miles). I put a $200 speedo on it awhile ago and put in about $20 worth of oil in it. Oh yeah and about 5,000,000,000,000 hours tightening every screw before/after every ride. Oh yeah about 3 bottles of gorrilla glue to perm. glue the screws to the frame.

When I mentioned the word "chinese" he said he wasn't interested anymore. This sucks ALOT. I think I will have to lower the price of my bike to maybe $100 before anyone buys it. Oh well


Right now I'm choosing between a few bikes. the SV650S and ninja 650s are really out of the question because all the stupid squids in CALI crash their brand new R1s and gsxr1000s and raise the premiums for innocent riders like me. (it would be over 1,500$$.) Otherwise, I'd get a SV650s in an instant.

the ninja 500 and the GS500 would be about 400-500 /year so I'm looking into one of those.

Glad you can take it that well. On a coff-real-coff bike, 3500 miles is an oil change interval, not a life span.

At least you learned something and didn't get embittered by it, eh? Alot of people buy similar bikes and get turned off riding forever by them.

YES, I found a willing buyer for $200. He lives pretty close to me and if he buys it I agreed to help him walk it 1.6 miles to his house. (for free) I told him its a piece of chinese crap and it doesn't run but he said he'll take it. (I'm afraid once he gets it he'll demand a refund)

AND. I found out insurance for those bikes won't be that expensive with AAA. With progressive, insurance rates for minors are high. But with AAA the insurance would be pretty cheap.


I found a

2003 Ninja ZZR 600 used, 5k miles, good cond. for $3600. Insuring that would be around $900/year for me.


A SV650 would be around 600/year
and a
ninja 500 would be 350/year.
