Mmm-hmm - a little bit.

A friend gave me the set of black pipes (he bought them off Ebay - they came from an '07 stock Mean Streak). Once I swapped out the pipes, I used matte black engine paint on the following:

air cleaner cover
throttle body cover
mirrors
tail light trim
rear fender trim
bracket for sissy bar/luggage rack

Here's another shot that shows the rear trim pieces...

The paint has been holding up great except on the mirrors. I'll most likely just buy a set of black mirrors - the stock mirrors are too big for my taste anyway. Eventually I'll also be blacking out the back side of the headlight, the back side the two guage cluster pieces, and the back side of all four turn indicators. I'll be leaving the two bullet running lights in the front chrome however. I like how having some blacked out parts lets the chrome bits stand out even more - like the engine covers and the nice design on the sissy bar/luggage rack.

Also, I'm thinking of doing red brake calipers.

Cheers,
Loonette

 Yes! That's it - twins separated at birth and now living in different countries. But I see they both have Harley brothers so I shall have to take a Harley/Ninja garage pic or outside pic next like you did and we can compare if they are twins too. 8)

I've gotten to 1000 km, so about 625 miles. Just way too busy to ride lately so I don't think I will put anywhere near the 6900 miles I put on the 250 last season (and I've still been playing with the 250 too  )
