Perfect! That last one - the H1 should be just the ammo I need to finally get my friend to finish his. Thanks, Poppy!

Later on, the guy started the bike and it sat there idling while he was gearing up to go. The bike sounded awesome... clean-running and, unlike most two-strokers with aftermarket expansion chambers, it had a quiet, low-toned exhaust note. It obviously was tuned to perfection and I'm still daydreaming about it. :inlove2:

Thanks, BuzZz, for your help with the thumbnail pics. And thanks for the comments, all! I'm enjoying sharing all this with you guys. Wish you coulda been there with me. I'll try to get a few more shots up this evening.

Thanks, Bruce. I'd say you're already spoiled, though. I've seen some of your Rocky Mtn. touring pics, thank you very much! The Rockies seem a lot more like paradise to me!!

Anyhoo, let me bore you with some more photos from Saturday...

Imagine it raining in the Smokies. Yeah, I know...big surprise. Luckily things dried out for most of the afternoon, though.

You never know what you'll see at the Dragon. This hillclimber has an H1 lump!
