From ur advice I actually found a bike that might be good and Im wondering ur opinion on it. Its a 96 Suzuki GS500E with 6040 miles, has no damage, 500cc, and is being sold for $1800 (he says its on kellys blue book for $2800).
So does that seem like a good price and is a good starter bike?
Thanks for everyones help.

Great bike, great price. That is a commonly recommended beginner bike, and it's one of the hottest looking non-cruiser bikes on the road IMO. Looks way more slick than those cookie-cutter race replica bikes.Phillyeaglesown wrote:From ur advice I actually found a bike that might be good and Im wondering ur opinion on it. Sounds like a score to me. Just make sure it has no major mechanical problems.

I'm with Lion Lady, you need to give props to that salesguy. It is rare to find someone who will honestly try to help you find the right bike for your level of riding skill (oh, sure that Augusta Brutale will be a great second bike for you
). Anyway, have fun finding just the right bike and don't forget to post pics!
