Well, the road in the pics actually has it's fair (or unfair) share of blind hairpins, I just picked the spots where you can see the whole corner for pictures. It's certainly not the rain-forest-like terrain like NC, though.

That road looks like sooooo much fun. Maybe I'll put it my tour plans for next year!
