i hear there is a decent slider that will work with the fairing (not the suzuki full fairing sliders), but i think it costs somewhere in the area of $150-200 USD

They look MUCH better fully faired. It would be very difficult choosing between the fully faired S version or rather the naked SV. The half faired look really doesn't look bad, but only different at first.

You aren't kidding, that rider is really small. I actually don't fit on the SV (I was gutted to discover) and I'm only 6'1. My knees come up higher than the indentations in the tank, and it just isn't comfy because of that
