I don't ride 2 up on my bike, but I think you might be happy with the Suzuki C50. My first bike was a nice Honda VLX that I bought new (not smart for a newb). Two months later I bought the C50 (yes, new again) and have been very happy with it. It's considered a mid-size cruiser, not too big, or heavy, and not too small. Check them out 
P.S. I took the MSF in May of last year, started riding to work in June (60 miles round trip) and have logged about 12,500 miles so far. Good Luck!!
