OK, even though you didn't answer my question (2 or 4 cyl) you're new sig has. In '81 there was only the 4. Be careful with it. That inline 4 is capable of putting out a respectable amount of power in a short amount of time. Also, I hope you know that you're required to post pics

I'm currently taking the Wheels in Motion class, finishing up this weekend! Congrats on getting the bike.

Awesome slattmattery!

Are either of your instructors Reily or Saun? They are both great! When you get a bike maybe we can go for a ride together!

Opps! I got so excited when you told me about the forum that I forgot to answer your question!

You're right. She's quite capable of a LOT of power. I was pretty nervous about that until I talked at length with the seller. He said that it isn't actually putting out the super duper power right now do to some things needing to be tweaked. It was his very first bike and assured me that if he didn't think it would be safe for me, he wouldn't say that it was since he too, was a MSF course grade not too long ago. He said at the lower power band there isn't a lot of 'make you pop a wheelie' juice but that when you get in the 4-6K range that the bad boy goes like a bat out of hell.

Once I get my gear, I'm going to take it over to a nearby parking lot and practice a bit before using it for commuting. Right now all I'm doing is getting used to its friction zone in my 24 foot driveway! Can't wait till the cycleport gear is in...

No, my instructors are Jeff and Jason. Both great guys, though.

The class is pretty interesting... Things went pretty slow at first, but you can still have fun with it. I just wish that things were a little more individual; having all 9 other riders being slowed up by the 10th person can be a little frustrating...

Amen to that. Just finished today. Starts out very slow, gets faster but the hole time I really didn't learn much. But I definitely got more comfertable about dodging objects and swerving and such.

I got one wrong on the written exam but achieved a perfect score on the coarse.

But they said they don't think it counts for my license because I am under 18 years old.

I have to call someone tomorrow.
