Like was already mentioned, let it warm up for a bit and the engine will smooth out. As for the brake squeek, get used to it. The front disc squeeks. That's one of the most frequent complaints about the S50.

Good Point. My wife mentioned she got "the bug" and now we BOTH have new bikes... :-)
