It was an Intruder 800 test drive that persuaded me to buy a cruiser.

Thanks to all of you. I have really been enjoying my bike. Mostly I enjoy cruising the side streets and rural roads. I find myself taking the long way everywhere I go. Freeways suck! Boring and too much wind for my taste. I like getting hand signals from all, well most all, of the other bikers. I've figured out the left hand down low wave. Can't wait to go biking with some friends some time.
