Hi Pinger, Glad you and bike are safe, thats happened to us before, like you at speed of 60mph, it does take some controlling when handlebars decide to do a wobbly, Dave manage to bring to a stop, but cause of our disabilities, we got breakdown cover so we managed to get bike home. We always use Avon Tyres (Tires) get about 12000 miles out of them.

Well done, Pinger! there's not much more difficult to get out of safely than a front-tyre blowout! i'm so glad that hasnt happened to me before now!

hmm, my front tire is pretty dryrotted in the sidewalls. i really need to replace it. 80 bucks

80 bills? Dam, your lucky. Pricing relacement rubber for either my GSXR or FJ, it seems I'm looking at almost $200 for a front and over $200 for a rear. I'd take 80 any day.....

100/90-19 not a high performance tire i'm assuming, not sure what type my local shop guy is gonna sell me i'll go up there tomorrow morning and see what he can set me up with.
