Congrats on the bike. I've always liked standard bikes overall. CB900s are real nice too, make sure to take some pictures. Not sure how you've been handling it, but I heard that they are not the best for a starter bike. Correct me if I'm wrong but can't they go 90km in first gear? If so just make sure to take her easy.

I'll take some photos tomorrow. I've been working on an issue with the battery, but I should have it going again by tomorrow.

As for handling the bike, yes it does have a lot of power. A lot. But the good thing is that the throttle isn't real sensitive. You have to really mean to haul "O Ring" to get up there. I've been in 5th gear, but the fastest I've gone on it is 60. However, that's not to say that I didn't once test the acceleration just a little on a straight country road. Let's just say that I'm not going to do that again for a long, long time. Not that it was bad or that I felt uncontrolled, but it can accelerate extremely fast and I'm just not going to go there until I'm very comfortable with the bike...like, maybe in a couple years :) Most of the time, I just putt around town at 35-40 anyway.

Anyhow, as far as controlling it otherwise, it's heavy (almost 600 pounds), but I have good control over it. I've done all of the maneuvers we did in the BRC in a parking lot on it and felt very comfortable with everything. I need to keep practicing the swerving and fast breaking though until I'm really comfortable with them.
