Most HDs have helicoils installed for the sparkies from the factory. At least the aluminum heads do!
I have seen people take helicoiled holes and try to cross thread the bolt into them only to screw up the helicoil but I have never seen one work its way out either. But if someone is worried about them coming out you can install a Keen Sert but they require a bigger hole for a larger thread to be made.Sev wrote:I've never seen a heli-coil that was correctly installed work it's way back out.
