If you've got a heated garage I'm willing to help with that as well ;) I'm currently fixing up an 89 FZR600 for a friend of mine to race. But my garage sure as heck isn't heated ;)

The nearest twisty roads... if you discount the river valley are in the mountains. And pretty heavily patrolled until you make it into Northern BC (that I know of).
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

The tracks don't want ethylene glycol because it is flammable. It is also very slippery when spilt.

Take some E-G (prestone, or any brand) in a small glass bowl. You can light it and it burns just like Sterno. E-G is a type of Alcohol, that's why it burns easily.

Even diluted to 50-50 it will still burn... Don't ask me how I know...

you need to use something that will lubricate water pump and also the thermostat (believe it or not, the plunger can stick closed with plain water)
Probably not a good idea to leave it in here for weeks a a time as it will cause corrosion of alloy parts
