I must say I'm actually surprised at how many people get their helmet off before their gloves.

I can't work that strap when I have any gloves on at all. We have some very dexterous users on this forum :D

Yes I hadn't considered that. I see people going without gear but usually they wear gloves because the gloves are more comfortable than the grip. I just assumed most people did :)

Though I do recall some people have custom grips for their cycles so I suppose they make a bare-knuckled grip that's comfortable on the hands. I know I couldn't use my ninja without gloves those grips would sting after a while.

Helmet first, the gloves are still summer weight and the strap on the Nolan open face is clip that releases the grip.
Also I need to have something to put the gloves in.

Depends on what helmet I'm using.

My full face helmet has double d ring straps, so i need to take off my gloves first (then my glasses).

My modular helmet has got one of those pushbutton strap things, so I can take it off without removing either my gloves or my glasses.

I use a modular helmet with the same kind of strap, so the helmet always comes off first (unless I just raise the chinbar -- but you look like a HUGE nerd with that thing raised up!)
