Well, no REI here in Fairbanks. In Anchorage, but that's about 367 miles away...... ;)

Internet works just fine, though. Thanks, I will check both sites!!

Nice set up, looks like it works well for you!

That Noah tarp is a good setup!

Our tent has a little vestibule (sp) that keeps our gear dry, it was a cheapie tent but it has been great and durable.
I'd like a tarp like that where a couple folks could sit out of the rain, though.

Our gear rides in waterproof camping bags so we can set up the tent while everything stays dry. Those waterproof bags are pricey but they are worth it!

We have the waterproof bags, also. But, we have a pretty cushy set-up with my saddlebags, put the waterproof bags on the back, THEN my hubby has the Goldwing (that people kid him about and ask where the microwave is! ;)

We also have the Bunkhouse pull behind trailer, so we sleep pretty good when we want!

Now, we've paid our dues, trust me, so we've been there done that..... ;)You never know if you just don't know if you will be doing an over nighter or not and that is pretty cool setup!
