There are photographs (not drawings) on the net now showing the new 800GS fitted with top box, panniers, engine guards etc; - there will be plenty more very soon I am sure, as it seems the bike will be 'unveiled' at the Milan show; plenty on this subject on the Britsih GS site : www.ukgser.com
Yah, I've seen all the shots. I don't want factory luggage - way too expensive, and I've already got a set of hardcases on my KLR that I want to use - I just need to get the right rack (Happy Trails SU, currently available for the F650GS).

Touratech will likely have all kinds of parts in development right now, but TT is horrendously expensive, and if I can get a cheaper alternative elsewhere then I will. I do like TT's products, they just need to bring the price down a little bit (for example - 39L fuel expansion kit for F650GS ~$2200US - Unpainted!!! For that money, I'll buy a 5g auxiliary fuel cell and strap it on the back, then go riding for a couple months)

Ideally, I'd like to be able to slather my bike in TT parts, but the world isn't an ideal place.

Just in from Open Road BMW, Newmarket, Ontario- F800GS Canadian MSRP;
"Just got pricing for the 2008 F800GS and it is $12,250.00 base price. I don't have any pricing on factory options yet but once I do I will forward the info along. I understand that we are looking at March '08 for the introduction and delivery sometime in April. As mentioned, don't delay in getting your order in. At the very least a deposit will get you started."
