Well some may remember I laid my bike down back in August, and it went straight to the dealer where I bought it. Insurance money got to them pretty fast, and parts took a lil while, and then more parts were needed after that.
But it took them a long time just to get started, apparently assembling snowmobiles for our so far Snow-free Edmonton winter was of more importance than getting a rider back out for the last couple weeks of the season.
And then there are all the "toys" for the people who have cars and could care less about their off-road vehicles turn-around time.
I am a bike only guy and it would have been really nice if they had stepped up to the plate and gotten it to me sooner, just like I do for customers where I work!
Alas no, but after 80 days, the repairs are complete. But even the wait list for a simple oil change is huge. Why can't other dealerships have a ride-in oil change serice like Harley does?
It seems to me that the priorities of the motorcycle service industry need a realignment.
Oh well, I have the Transit System figured out for winter
