Hmmm, if those temps make you "just want to shiver", then we must be stone cold, froze to death up here!!

Here's our weather forecast for the next week.....geez. BUT! The summer's sooooo make up for it and the cold weather keeps a lot of people from living here so it's worth it in my book. Like I've said before, we take advantage of our 24 hour sunlight in the summer and ride as much as we can!!

Tonight
Clearing. Patchy ice fog after midnight. Lows 25 to 40 below zero. Northeast winds to 10 mph.
[sunny]
Saturday

well, you got me beat there (-40 is very cold compared to -5) but my next question is does it get to 120 deg in the summer there  :flame: ????

NO! Thank goodness! The hottest I have seen it is 97....the interior where I live is the hottest AND coldest part of the state. We typically will have 60-90 degree weather most of the summer, nice.

I can't do those hot temps......can only take off so much clothing!! ;)

So, we have the extremes covered on both ends now don't we? :rocking:

when asked what cold was from my stand point anything below 70 degrees f. I start hunting a fire. but we have our extremes just as you do. I've seen it at 11 degrees here in northeast Florida. Blowin' out of the northeast with gale force winds coming straight off the atlantic. It's not nice. As I said earlier riding cold is not my idea of a good time. And yes, the clothes taking off thing is a really nice extra.

The temperature up here is a little different too, as it is a "dry" cold. If it wasn't for the extreme cold, it would be a dessert, that's how dry it is.

That moisture mixed with the cold goes straight to your bones. I have only experienced that once and didn't like it, so, I get what you're saying!

Yep, I hear your pain.....we've got us a whoppin' -40 below again this morning!! But, we are getting more daylight, so that is pretty cool. We stay pretty occupied in the winter here and try to make sure we get together at least twice a month and at least talk about riding, what our plans are etc. Helps pass the cold, winter days..... :roll2:

Stay Warm!! :cold:

low of 41 was the lowest temp there...I ride to work whenever its above 40 and not raining. I'm jealous.
