I hadn't planned on going back to them....but since they were the ones who did the repair in the first place, then they should remedy it. I will only be going back again when they call when the parts are in so that the proper parts get installed.

After that, I will be going to Edmonton. :laughing: :laughing:

j/k......I will be going to a different dealer that other riders speak highly of.

I know it's a long ride, but if you want someone to work on your bike whose actually invested in making sure you stay on the road safe and sound I'd be more then happy to help.

As you know, my bike hadn't been ridden since last April. So, when I put the bike back on the road 2 weeks ago, I thought it was just me at first....you know.....out of practice....Then I thought maybe it was because of the new boots......

I had wondered about the "play" in the shifter....but someone told me that was normal.
Anyway....when they replaced the shifter, they forgot to put back the spacers and washers. The shifter was actually hitting the engine guard and thus would not go into first.

Once they fix this latest thing, that's it.
