Do you know what you are getting, or waiting for inspiration to hit you :-)

Maybe a little ZX-6R action after the 250-R? :naughty:

Don't think of it as a stop light. Think of it as a chance-to-show-off light.

After sitting on some 600cc Super Sports I opted to get the Monster 696. I sat down on the 695 to get a feel for the bike and I really like it. The Monster 696 seems to improve on all the 695 features (higher pipes, better cooling, etc.)

Plus it looks so cool :O

The wife had been wanting one of those. Now she wants the Street Triple, but there are not highly available in the US:

Inline 3, 675cc. A naked Daytona, essentially.

The dealer near me has them I believe. I'm pretty sure I sat on one.

I've been lurking around for ages but had to post when I saw this thread.

I've already placed my order with the dealer for an '08 Wee-Strom, hopefuly it will be in in less than a week. I waffled between the Wee and the Versys for quite awhile, but in the end was swayed by the ABS. I've read a lot of good things about the Versys and hope I've made the right choice, but I'm sure I'll be happy with the Wee nevertheless.

I haven't been sleeping well the last few nights.

I know that feeling!!! I didn't sleep more than a couple of hours a day that last week before picking the Venture up...

I am looking at both the Monster 696 and the Street Triple. In March there will be a motorcycle exhibition, so I hope to try both of them on for size (as well as some others) Still far away for my shopping day though :)

Not that it should matter, but perhaps does... A triple sounds great. Like no other bike. It is that just-off rythm, I guess :-)

You guys are making me sad :-( I have not been on a bike in almost six weeks! Gotta get a new helmet and let the leg heal up (I know, I'm a whiner!).

Our local-ish deal says the only way he can get one is for me to buy one. I could be tempted... I hear great things about the Daytona 675. I have sat on one of those. Maybe if I got to ride one I could get the feel for it. Maybe the wife would want to get up to Jersey for a weekend. North or South? :-)
