If you have a cane you have a undeniable RIGHT to poke people. Otherwise what's the fun in having one? Hell I think it's un-american if you don't trip at least one person and then make them feel BAD for throwing YOU off balance.

Glad to hear you can get around, could have been a lot worse. Keep an eye on your wounds. I hit and killed a MOOSE 3 years ago on my Nighthawk Honda ,broke both wrists, left thigh bone, fracture to hip and 4 ribs. Three years later the pain is getting worse every day. Keep an eye on everything. Good to get back on the horse. It was my 69 th. birthday. :)

Yeah, my knee and possibly my neck are going to have arthritic problems. The knee was bad to begin with... And I was just going to take up jogging! (quite smoking a few months back :clapping: )

Anyway, I decided right away to get a lawyer. I don't expect to get rich off of it, but why should I lose money because some @sshole telecom driver was in a hurry? They plan to make them pay for my bills, even though my insurance covered them, also get me paid for missed work (four days of leave is a big chunk for us Americans :-().

You may want to have a talk with Northern Pete. He thought about taking the bike one day when he hit and killed a moose in the cage a year or two ago.
Glad you survived, but sorry about the pain!
As for the moose's ins. co, get yourself a lawyer and see what he can do!
