"I'm a cowboy (cowboy)
On a steel horse I ride
And I'm wanted (wanted)
Dead or alive!"

Nothing better than cruising, singing that, and getting SUVs with soccer moms to roll up their windows when I flash a glance in their direction!

I prefer a bit of Christopher Cross:
It is the night. My body's weak.
I'm on the run. No time to sleep.
I've got to ride.

Ride like the wind to be free again.
And I got such a long way to go.
To make it to the border of Mexico.
So I'll ride like the wind.
It makes me feel guilty for "only" doing the speed limit. :)

I sing while I ride. I figure it's the same as singing when I'm driving, except on the bike I have no CD playing to help with the lyrics, so I make up my own :P

Pesronally, I do a little "bullet with a name on it" by nonpoint, "firestarter" by prodigy and then, of course "radar love" by golden earring.

Runner up nominees are "the distance" by cake, "born too slow" by crystal method, and "garden grove" by sublime.

How in the world do you sing Firestarter with no accompanying music?

And "the distance" is a great song.

No, I listen to my bike singing to me. It carries a tune much more accurately than I can.

My bike's not NEAR loud enough to drown me out.
My bike is. Sing loud, sing proud

Though it sucks when it's the same verse, over and over, because it's stuck in your head.

Bmmph! Bmmph! Bmmph! Bmmph! Bmmph! Bmmph! Bmmph! Bmmph! (hey, hey, hey!)... I'm the trouble starter, punkin instigator..." etcetera...

I use to till I got pulled over by the Queens Cowboys and threatened with a "Crimes against Humanity" charge.

The sound of fingernails being dragged over a chalkboard is positively lyrical compared to my singing. :D
