I agree on that one. I wave to anyone I see on two wheels. People who don't wave back are more often than not guys on sport bikes.wmg1299 wrote:I have a Softail and a Ninja. I have noticed that some Harley riders don't wave when I'm on the Ninja, but most will return a wave.
I've actually gotten more snubs from sport bike riders when I'm on the Harley. Not sure why there is a separation between the two groups, or why people care. There appear to be jerks who own sport bikes and jerks who own Harley's.

Can we give Shane-o the "Aussie Bart Simpson" title? Cause seriously, this guy loves to stir the pot.
I mean, you love Shane-o but it's that love where sometimes you want to choke him. You know?
I've noticed this too. I know several Harley riders, and for the most part they don't really dislike sport bikes or sport bike riders in general. Some of them are even big MotoGP and dragbike fans.SBK15 wrote:I've noticed that some harley riders get annoyed by the Punks on there GSXRs buzzing by them. And the punks on the GSXRs are the ones always in the news for gettin killed doing triple digits on the highway. I could undertand the harley riders reason not to wave, but i repect EVERY biker, and i do wave.
I was riding with a friend and he made the same sort of comment because three sport bikers riding together never waved back at us as we passed. I had to correct him, one nodded his head, the other two lifted their fingers off the clutch. Now I don't ride a GSXR, never will, But I do know, that if you're not that experienced, removing a hand from the bars just might not be that great of an idea. I've also seen the barely perceptable nod from Harley riders at times as well, (Especially if they're in a group...)koji52 wrote:I agree on that one. I wave to anyone I see on two wheels.
