Does Rain Hurt the Bike?

Rain does not have to hurt. I got caught in an icy rain one day, and it felt like needles stinging my face. At the time, I coudn't put the face shield down because it fogged so much.
I now have a shield liner (like Fog City) and it works great. No more fogging up. Then I bought some Sea Drops from a scuba diving shop. I used the drops for the outside of the visor and it makes the water flow away so you can reasonably good visibility.

Now, if I could just do something about the cold fingers. Anybody tried heated gloves? Do they really work?

If you use chemical hand warmers in your gloves, it can get pretty toasty (Those are the cheap, one-time use packets). As far as battery-powered heated gloves... not bad if you're out hunting, but riding in the rain might be a different story (what with, you know, the water and all).
