The resistors are required because the drain on the electrical system is too LOW. The flasher relays require a high current in order to work properly.
Ah sorry my bad. I took electronics a very long time ago - so I don't remember everything 100% right.

Without the resistors they will flash really quickly, as I have learned from my readings...
Maybe that would be better, I think it would draw more attention flashing quicker and brighter...
Yep, but I think there are regulations on how fast/slow they can blink to pass inspection and be legal. Don't know what they are though...

the key is not letting her know what you have,my wife thinks I have 1 rifle 1shotgun and 1 pistol, but if she ever got into the safe she would kill me.
try this, ask your wife how many pairs of shoes she has, then go count,I would bet you would find a major discrepancy in the numbers.

You can just get a new flasher unit that works with LED's. Why use resistors and waste more power if you don't have to?... says the guy who uses every scrap on his v-strom for farkles.
I'm not sure if I read that right. Are you wanting to remove the turn signal stalks entirely and just have them integrated into the tail light? If so, look into your local vehicle codes. That would be illegal in Va as the signal indicators would be too close together.

Your bike is not American made so it is considered Metric. Anyhow I would highly suggest going to
www.customdynamics.com first to check out their stuff. So much better than totalmotorcycle but they can have good deals from time to time.
