Having Same Problem

I know this is an old string, but new issue for me. I'm having the same issue. I have 13 vdc across the battery, and down to the starter. I hit the start button, and I can hear the relays click. But, I get nalda. The voltage stays constant, and the starter does nothing. I've checked all the connections and fuses. Tight and not open. This is a 2006 Ultra Classic, with only 8K on it. Any other suggestion, besides trying to wrestle this onto a trailer? :frusty:

fixed it.

The battery cable, where it grounds, connects to the starter bracket (yoke shaped, 3/16" flat plate). The plate appears to be iron. For that Harley painted it, to cut down on oxidation. Problem is, the star washer, between the lug and the plate was making minimal contact. I cleaned the lug, and stripped some of the paint off of the bracket. Voila... Go figure. Anyway, I thought I'd share the fix.
