Well I've had my bike ('01 V-star Classic) for less than a year, and while I'd like to have a bigger bike (preferrably a Sportster 1200 or Dyna Super Glide), I'll be sticking with this one for many years because I can't justify the expense of a bigger bike. So I'll have this bike until it becomes unsafe or unreliable.

One year plus a couple months for my '79 CB750. I got rid of it because it wasn't reliable, and I could afford something new at that point. If it'd been in better shape I would likely still be riding it.

4 months and 4k miles.

Then a deer hit me and totaled the bike.

Had my 2001 Suzuki Volusia from August 23rd 2006 until April 3rd 2007. Financial troubles made me sell it... I didn't start riding it til August 31st, and in the intermittent 8 Colorado winter months I put on over 3600 miles around town. (Would have been more but we had 4 blizzards that winter for about a month and a half of not riding time...
