Great looking V-Max! '85 was the first year and the fastest. When the V-Boost kicked in at 6000 RPMs, the cylinders in the intake cycle sucked in from all the carbs resulting in a violent acceleration. The rear tire was humongous for it's time period and it was the fastest accelerating bike to the 1/4 mile at the time. Imagine a cruiser being the fastest 1/4 mile bike!
