Whoa, I had no idea those existed. A quick search of the interblags show a lot of people like them. Those may be in my future soon: inline fours are buzzy at, err, spirited highway speeds when touring.
I think I'll be checking them out as well.

My local MC shop didn't have "grip puppies," but they did have something similar.. They really fattened up the grip handle--I'm going to give them another try, as soon as I can get a ride in--Tuesday at the earliest. :( I'm not sure I'll be able to use them, though. I have smallish hands.

Now, the throttle rocker is another story. It really does rock!

The glove hunt hasn't gone so well. Out of about 15 gloves, the only ones that didn't have a lump in the gusset where the thumb joins the hand had gauntlets or fake leopard fur. :frusty:

The only bar end weights I've seen looked mostly decorative. How heavy should they be?

I use a throttle rocker and after getting use to it, my right hand really appreciates it. I don't know if it makes any difference but I'm also left handed so my right arm/hand (throttle hand) is not as strong as my left.

For $9.99 I could not turn down trying it.

Well, I finally stumbled onto a pair of gloves that seem to have solved the problem. They're by Ciba. So far, excellent! :rocking:

The padded grip covers that I tried were too thick for me--I had trouble controlling the bike at times  . I might look into ISO grips in the future, if they are less thick than those covers. Or if I stumble on the grip puppies brand in a store somewhere, to see if they are thinner than the ones I had. Now I can get back to concentrating on smoothing out my shifting and my turns. And my stops. And my starts. You get the idea.

Thanks for everyone's input! :D

+1 on the iso grips. have them on my vtx and absolutely love them, wouldn't trade them for anything.
