need help identifying a motorcycle oldy
All the vehicles are in the same woods, there are probably at least 50 cars and trucks back there. Then there are some piles of old dirt bikes lawnmowers and that cz with a tree growing thru the spokes. The pics of the ww 2 swords and bayonets are at an auction I'm going to attend. The guy that own this property has been saving "junk" vehicles for prolly 40 years. Combines, tractors, you name it's there.MZ33 wrote:That's quite a grouping of pix you have there. Are they all in the same place, or do you just have an affinity for stumbling on rusted transports in the woods?

Given the rising price of scrap metal, he's probably got a small fortune on his hands.jeepdude wrote: The guy that own this property has been saving "junk" vehicles for prolly 40 years. Combines, tractors, you name it's there.
Scrap prices are so high around here that thieves quit gutting unoccupied houses and started stealing manhole covers and storm drain grates off the street (not good for us bikers).

I'm working on making a deal with the guy, on some stuff... But he has had some of the stuff for 40+ years. He's a little salty on his prices, and the time involved getting it out, Tree Removal, for one thing. Gran torino's galaxie 500's, all kinds of 40'sh dually 1-1/2 ton dually trucks, piles of dirtbikes, IH scouts, travellall, willys, mavericks, combines, tractors... and so on and so on.MZ33 wrote:Yeah, if it doesn't all rust away before he gets around to it!Given the rising price of scrap metal, he's probably got a small fortune on his hands.
