The battery was the culprit. Pulled it and it tested bad. Put in the new one and everything was fine. I didn't know a battery would just completely die like that. Sounds like it was way over due to be replaced anyway.

Bad timing, good you got it fixed. As far as repairs go, that's about the easiest and cheapest you can hope for! Glad it wasn't more serious.
