One more question on tires...

Does the speedo need to be recalibrated if the new tires are a bit different in size?
Oh, hell another question...
Are there options for custom replacement wheels to get the tires to a better size, well on the front anyway, or is this just asking for trouble.

I wouldn't bother. Just trade you Ninja for a different bike when it's time for an upgrade.

I'll take your word for it as I'll probably forget to feel them up when I actually make it out to a dealership again.
I'm no tire expert but you may not be able to tell on new tires because they are coated with that stuff? Someone can correct me.
But personally I've noticed the difference, the ninja used to feel like it was sliding on me a bit and that sensation hasn't happend at all with my new bike.
I turned the ninja pretty hard during the cold winter months.

All premium tires these days seems to be super sticky right out of the box. I still scrub 'em in gradually however, just in case. The dirt knobbies seem to have a slightly slippery coating on it that definitely needs to be scrubbed.
